PRESS RELEASE: Omni Agri Announces OMRI Certification for GreenSun SP-225 Fertilizer

Omni Agri Trade Group expands organic product line with OMRI Certification for GreenSun SP-22 – the season-long provider of sulfur and phosphorous

HANFORD, Calif., April 26, 2010 – Omni Agri Trade Group, LLC, a leading provider of liquid and dry micronutrient solutions, today announced that its GreenSun® SP-225 sulfur and phosphorous fertilizer is now OMRI certified.

“GreenSun SP-225 is unique in that it contains 22.5% phosphate rock,” said Mark Moore, CEO of Omni Agri Trade Group. “Never before has sulfur and phosphate been blended and formed in a single homogenous pastille. Plus, the blended solution degrades to produce a nutrient complex that is 65% sulfur and 5.0% P2O5.”

By combining sulfur and phosphorous, GreenSun SP-225 substantially decreases the conversion time to the plant available form, and enables more efficient distribution of sulfur and phosphorus in the field.

GreenSun products are pastille-shaped, degradable sulfur which is formulated using a new, patent-pending technology that serves as a significant differentiator when compared to other granular fertilizers. It is superior to other sulfur and phosphate materials in its handling and blending characteristics, contains very little dust, and features an extremely uniform granule size.

When this GreenSun product makes contact with soil moisture, thousands of sulfur and phosphate particles are dispersed. Gradual degradation of sulfur and metal particles results in greater availability over a reasonable period of time, thus reducing leaching losses, increasing nutrient efficiency, and increasing crop yields.

GreenSun SP-225 is the second product offered by Omni Agri Trade Group with OMRI Certification. GreenSun 90 Organic is used as a plant nutrient and soil amendment for the improvement of alkali soils.

Omni Agri to Attend WPHA Seminar in Fresno, CA
Omni Agri's Martha Moore is scheduled to attend the March 4, 2010 Western Plant Health Association (WPHA) Seminar in Fresno, CA. The WPHA Environmental Site Committee presents the one-day seminar to provide appropriate background and practical tips and procedures for the agricultural retailers in California.

Event participants will receive the most up-to-date information on California’s clean air rules; get tips on how to recycle materials including “Universal” waste; hear how the proper placement of signs and books can keep employees safe and a company compliant; get an update on the recycling rules associated with pesticide containers, and learn tips on how to protect employees from heat. The program provides a venue for discussion as well as networking opportunities. All participants will obtain a packet of resources and reference booklets that can be used at their facilities.

January 20-22, representatives from Omni Agri Trade Group and its sister company, Omni Sulphur, will be in South America for the leading annual event of the Latin American fertilizer industry. FMB and British Sulphur have joined forces to collaborate on a new fertilizer conference and exhibition focusing on the Latin American market. The new event will replace British Sulphur's Fertilizer Latin America and FMB's Americas conferences. Fertilizer Latino Americano will provide the industry with a single, all-encompassing event serving companies and organizations working in the Latin American region.

The January 2010 meeting is perfectly timed for the start of the Latin American import season. Capitalizing on FMB’s established links with Eastern and Western European suppliers as well as the strong customer base of both FMB and British Sulphur, the 2010 FLA meeting will bring together the major players in the region.
